Building

We’re designing the layout of our manufacturing space. In addition to our still, we will have fermentation tanks, a mash tun, and room enough for the forklift to scoot around. For those of you who know the Williams Feed building, this will all be on the Virginia St side. In weekly conversations with our architect, David Gray, we feel like we’re making progress. 

Business

We’re ‘under construction’ on our website. As we plan to sell our merchandise online and in person, we are working with Ruth Lammers Photography to showcase our hats, tshirts, and stickers. Our next steps will be to work with Eric Carleson of InversionMKT in Butte to design a single-page scroll site that showcases our products, tasting room, and story. Once we’re closer to opening, we’ll work with Rico Aquino of Montana Video Company to create two short videos: an ‘about Terminus’ highlighting the history of the building and our story, and an ‘open now’ video featuring lots of locals enjoying the community space. 


Distillery

This month, Derek spent two days down at Jackson Hole Still Works in Jackson, WY. He toured the space and got an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at their production process. One of his takeaways was the value of doing as much of the production in house as possible. If you see Great Gray Gin, Still Works Vodka, or Absaroka Double Cask Gin on the shelves in your local liquor store, we highly recommend picking some up.
