Craft distillery opening in Dillon, Montana

  • Why 'Terminus'?

Before Dillon became Dillon, it was the end of the Utah and Northern line and was called Terminus, Montana. We love this community and have found it to be the ‘end of the line’ for us to settle down and start a family (and now a business!). We’re working with the Beaverhead County Museum to incorporate the stories of southwest Montana into the design of our tasting room.

  • What will we make?

Whiskey, gin, and vodka to start. For whiskeys, we look forward to rye, wheat, and bourbon. As a grain-to-glass distillery, we will source our grain from Montana fields and work with local ranchers to create Dillon-specific blends.

  • When will we open?

We bought Dillon’s old grain elevator and attached warehouse in April of 2022 and are hard at work renovating. From roof to floors, we are reclaiming old lumber, repurposing existing materials, and prioritizing sustainable construction practices. With distillery equipment on order, timelines to production put us opening in late 2024. To keep track of our progress, sign up for our end-of-month newsletter here.
